I'm watching F1 qualifying, and have seen several commercials for a build your own 1/8 scale McLaren MP4/4, Ayrton Senna's championship car from 1988.
They talk about regular parts shipments to build the kit, build instructions, a glossy book, and Senna SENNA SENNA!
20 payments of $67.99 plus shipping and handling comes out to $1,500
What else could you buy and put in 20 months to own?
It appears to be a really nice model. I just can't help but think that there is something at the end of the line you'll have to purchase separately. Decals? What's the $100 shipment 21 they aren't telling you about?

I see the shocks, but they're not connected to anything...? Someone wanna try to explain how this setup works?

it looks like the front wheels are connected solidly to that tubing frame.. then somehow the actual body of the car is sprung...
